Mosquito Trap, Home Made

Have you noticed the Mosquitos are already out! Here is a homemade trap to help keep you and the kiddos from being a blood donor!!!

HOMEMADE MOSQUITO TRAP:
Items needed:
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 gram of yeast
1 2-liter bottle

HOW:
1. Cut the plastic bottle in half.
2. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
4. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle, taping them together if desired.
5. Wrap the bottle with something black, leaving the top uncovered, and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering area. (Mosquitoes are also drawn to the color black.)

Change the solution every 2 weeks for continuous control.

Salt Knowledge..& Tricks

Handy Uses of Salt:

1. If you drop a whole egg on the floor, pour salt all over the egg, let it sit for awhile, then use dustpan, the egg will come right up, without all that mess.

2. Soak stained hankies in salt water before washing.

3. Sprinkle salt on your shelves to keep ants away.

4. Soak fish in salt water before descaling; the scales will come off easier.

5. Put a few grains of rice in your saltshaker for easier pouring.

6. Add salt to green salads to prevent wilting.

7. Test the freshness of eggs in a cup of salt water; fresh eggs sink;bad ones float.

8. Add a little salt to your boiling water when cooking eggs; a cracked egg will stay in its shell this way.

9. A tiny pinch of salt with egg whites makes them beat up fluffier.

10. Soak wrinkled apples in a mildly salted water solution to perk them up.

11. Rub salt on your pancake griddle and your flapjacks won't stick.

12. Soak toothbrushes in salt water before you first use them; they will last longer.

13. Use salt to clean your discolored coffee pot.

14. Mix salt with turpentine to whiten you bathtub and toilet bowl.

Solution for Scratched CD's:
1. Spread a cloth on a flat surface
and place the CD on it.
2. Then, hold the disc with one
hand, use the other to wipe the

soft cloth.

short, brisk strokes along the
scratch, not across it.

camera lenses will work super m8's.

and let it dry before playing.

effects before Ive also used car
paint cutting compound on deeper
scratches. It does leave lots of
smaller scratches (as it is a cutting
compound after all) but it will
remove the worst scratches in most
cases.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES WHILE USING PC

During a recent visit to an optician, one of my friend was told of an exercise for the eyes by a specialist doctor that he termed as 20-20-20. It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks, looking at the computer screen.

Step I :-

After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step II :-

Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

Step III :-

Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.
Circulate among all if you care. They say that your eyes are mirrors of your soul, so do take care of them, they are priceless

A useful tip for car owners

How to Immediately Get Back Your Stolen Car !
It is a fantastic idea for those who can't afford car
insurance or Tracker System. I'm forwarding this to
all my friends.
How to Get Back Your Stolen Car?
It takes only 2 minutes for a car thief to runaway with
your car. No matter you have a trekker and auto-
alarming devices fitted in your car.
The best safety for your car is a live and active
Mobile Phone hidden in a safe place in your car:
1. Buy any low price mobile phone with longer
standby time.
2. Install a mobile connection which has best
network in the country.
3. Turn this mobile on complete SILENT mode
(double check it should not vibrate while you turn it
on SILENT mode).
4. Wrap it up slightly in a plastic sheet so that it
should not get dirty and dusty during its hidden use.
5. Make sure it is perfectly responding by calling its
number from another mobile phone.
6. Hide this mobile in a safe place in your car. And
that’s it…!!!
If your car is stolen, immediately inform your local
Police Help Line. Give them phone number of the
mobile hidden in your car. Police can easily track the
location by calling that number. Chances are that you
may get back your car within the shortest possible
time.
And finally do not forget to charge this mobile at
least twice a week and hide it back in your car in
active position.
Please share this message with all your friends.
Good luck. If you get back your car this way, do
remember me in your prayers!
